The Chip Cop Shop

From Cops to Chips

All over Neath Port Tabot Police Stations have disappeared and you can no longer easily report a crime or inquire about a lost or found item.

The Police Station at Briton Ferry is now a Chip Shop and is pictured below:

What are your view on closing Cop Shops?   Does it make you feel less safe?   Give your views on I SAY (menu).

It costs you money to contact the police by telephone, even if you have a freephone allowance.  Calls to 101 will cost15p, no matter how long the call, what time of day it is made or whether it is from a landline or mobile phone. There has always been a cost associated with non-emergency calls.

The police often ask the public for help during an investigation - so is it fair to pay for the phone call to do this?
