Just Blogs

Keeping in touch with those who care

'Just Blogs' (in our menu) keeps you in touch with those who care for the community, including Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and John Redwood

Also included is Christina Rees, the MP for Neath.  Regrettably, her last entry was last January.   Contrast that with Frank Little, who represents the Welsh Liberals, who writes this month:

Repair Café in Neath

"I was clearly not the only one who could see the crying need for Neath's own repair café ("Make do and Mend", last month). Thanks to Coastal Housing, one will shortly be starting in Waunceirch (watch this space) and Seven Sisters RFC are sponsoring one there starting in October."

Our Comment

You can always tell how much MPs, Councillors and Politicians care for the community by the way they write and if they keep their blogs up-to-date.

Frank Little mentions Coastal Housing which reminds us of when they donated a stained glass window (right) to the people of Neath at the time the Neath Empire was being demolished in 2012.   The idea was to install it in a museum at Neath.  Now, seven years later, Neath is still waiting for a museum while valuable artworks are deteriorating in storage.

The Empire window is said to be in safekeeping at Swansea University Art Centre.
