Council warning to residents
NPT Council warns residents about rogue traders
The warning comes after the Council’s Trading Standards team received a call from a homeowner who has fallen victim to one of these scams. The rogue trader inspected the homeowner’s property, giving vastly inflated estimates for unnecessary work.
Rogue traders usually target elderly residents who should extra care with cold callers.
