Starting the 18th April the rail bridges by the Outlet Village will be closed for removal and replacement. This will lead to a lot of bus services being diverted as follows.
1/1A/8/9/9A/9B/19B/27/31/31A/50/55/55A & 60 - These will follow their normal line of route from Town to Church Place, then they will run as follows:
Park Lane, Westcott Place, Wootton Bassett Road
They will then resume normal line of route from Mannington Roundabout - They will operate in reverse on inbound services.
19/19A - these will run on normal line of route to Church Place then as follows:
Park Lane, Westcott Place, Penzance Drive, Paddington Drive
They will then resume normal line of route - operates in reverse on inbound journeys.
13/13A/14/14A - These will have the biggest diversion and will use different buses to normal due to the diversion route (361/363-366/371-379 & 501-528 will not go under Whitehouse Bridge). The diversion is as follows:
To Haydon Wick - Fleming Way, Holbrook Way, Cheltenham Street, Station Road, RAIL STATION, Station Road, WHITEHOUSE BRIDGE, Whitehouse Road, Great Western Way, BRUCE STREET BRIDGES, Rodbourne Road to resume normal line of route.
To Eldene - Rodbourne Road, BRUCE STREET BRIDGES, Great Western Way, Whitehouse Road, WHITEHOUSE BRIDGE, Corporation Street, Manchester Road, BUS STATION, Milford Street, Fleming Way to resume normal line of route.
If a bus that can not go under Whitehouse Bridge is used then it will have to divert via Station Road to Transfer Bridges and Great Western Way (it can go along the whole length of Station Road or then either Wellington Street, Manchester Road, County Road, TRANSFER BRIDGES, Great Western Way or Corporation Street, Manchester Road, County Road, TRANSFER BRIDGES, Great Western Way)
Tempoary Service 26 - Fleming Way - Rodbourne - Outlet Village
This will run every 30 minutes and operate as follows:
Outlet Village, Rodbourne Road, BRUCE STREET BRIDGES, Great Western Way, Whitehouse Road, WHITEHOUSE BRIDGE, Corporation Street, Manchester Road, Bus Station, Fleming Way (X), Princes Street, Edgware Road, Islington Street, Fleming Way (Y), Holbrook Way, Cheltenham Street, Rail Station, Station Road back under Whitehouse Bridge and return to Rodbourne & Outlet Village via Great Western Way.
Service 22 will operate as follows: Fleming Way, Holbrook Way, Cheltenham Street, Station Road, RAIL STATION, Station Road, WHITEHOUSE BRIDGE, Whitehouse Road, Great Western Way, BRUCE STREET BRIDGES, Great Western Way to Barnfield Road - it will then turn in the depot as it does at present and return by reverse of above route to WHITEHOUSE BRIDGE where it will serve Corporation Street, Manchester Road, BUS STATION, Milford Street to Fleming Way.
