The road between Greenbridge and New Inn roundabouts will be closed so that Network Rail can tinker with their train set yet again - however this will be to put in overhead electric cables which means the bridge will be removed and a new higher bridge put in, buses will be diverted and there may be some changes, this will start in November and last until Febuary. More details will be added when known for changes to bus services, the diversion for cars will be via Drakes Way, Ocotal Way, Transfer Bridges, Cirencester Way, Gypsy Lane & Bridge End Road. The no right turn from Swindon Road onto the bridge will be suspended during this work. Pedestrian and Cycle access will be kept accross the rails during this work.

Thamesdown Service 20 Diversion
Service 20 will be diverted between Greenbridge Retail Park (McDonalds) and Lower Stratton (Jacobs Ladder) during these works as follows:
From Greenbridge McDonalds to Slade Drive, Oxford Road & Ermin Street to Lower Stratton Jacobs Ladder then resumes normal line of route to Bus Station via Kingsdown & Gorse Hill.
From Lower Stratton Jacobs Ladder to Ermin Street, Oxford Road & Slade Drive to Greenbridge McDonalds then resumes normal line of route to Great Western Hospital via Covingham, Eldene & Liden.
Buses will not serve Grange Drive, passengers who use the New Inn bus stop should walk to Greenbridge, passengers who use Yiewsley Crescent and other stops on Grange Drive should walk to Jacobs Ladder.
Stagecoach West Services 7 & 7A - Updated 06/11/14
Service 7 will be split to services 7A & 7B and run as follows:
7A Bus Station - Tescos - Greenbridge - Oxford Road - Ermin Street - Lower Stratton - South Marston Park - Highworth
7B Bus Station - Tescos - Gypsy Lane - Grange Drive - Lower Stratton - South Marston Park - Highworth
The service 7A journey via Cavendish Square will divert via Oxford Road and Ermin Street.
Each service will run every 20 mins giving a combined service of every 10 mins, 7A will terminate at South Marston Park between 1000-1500 Mon-Fri, outside of these times on Mon-Fri and on Saturdays both buses run to Highworth.
Sunday/BH services will run as 7A.
