There is a plan by the esteemed local council to improve drainage (good as it always floods) and put in a new road layout and roundabout at Bruce Street Bridges, this should of been done in 1994 when the second bridge was built but is being done now in 2014 instead, during this time buses will be delayed and there will be plenty of times when buses bunch up or are taken out of service to get them back on time, unlike London, we do not curtail buses in Swindon so you have to just wait longer for your bus which will be jammed solid as the service uses single deck buses as its main allocation.
This Work will take a year to complete and it comes on top of an earlier set of roadworks that caused the same problem for Sewer Replacement as they cannot seem to do things in sync in Swindon either.
