Service Changes

THAMESDOWN

The following service changes will take place on the 8th January 2017 affecting Thamesdown Services 1, 1A, 11, 12, 13, 13A, 14, 14A, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 19A, 19B, 21, 22, 24, 24A, 25 & 27

STAGECOACH

Stagecoach will cease running services 11A & 19 from 31st December 2016. Thamesdown will replace service 11A with service 11 from Middle Wichel via Old Town, Fleming Way & Pinehurst to Haydon Wick and will replace service 19 with service 11 from Haydon Wick to Taw Hill via Redhouse & Oakhurst.

New Routes

1,1A - Extended to Great Western Hospital via New College & Coate Water

11 - Extended to Oakhurst via Redhouse daily and will also serve Taw Hill on Sundays. It is also extended to Middle Wichel (replacing service 15) via Old Town, Croft Campus, Wroughton Park & Ride and East Wichel. Buses will go from Fleming Way instead of Bus Station.

12 - Will operate Great Western Hospital to Highworth via Badbury Park, Coate Water, Lawns, Old Town, Fleming Way, Pinehurst, Greenmeadow, Haydon Wick, Abbey Meads, St Andrews Ridge & Blunsdon. The Highworth section will operate hourly from Blunsdon via Sams Lane to Highworth then operate via Stagecoach service 7 to Home Farm and Roundhills Mead before returning to Blunsdon. The section between Fleming Way and Haydon Wick via North Star, Ferndale, Northern Road, Akers Way, Wood Hall and Haydon End is withdrawn, see services 15 & 15A below for replacement details.

13, 13A, 14 & 14A - All buses will now operate via Farnsby Street, Commercial Road, Regent Circus, Corporation Street and the Bus Station on services from Haydon Wick to Eldene. The Section via the Rail Station is Withdrawn - there is also some peak time timetable changes to services via Dorcan which will run at morning peaks on school days only.

15 - will be withdrawn between Fleming Way & Middle Wichel (see service 11 above) and will operate from the Bus Station to Haydon Wick via North Star, Ferndale, Northern Road, Akers Way, Taw Hill, Oakhurst & Redhouse and return via Haydon End & Redhouse (replacing service 12)

15A - NEW SERVICE - Bus Station to Haydon Wick via North Star, Ferndale, Northern Road, Akers Way, Wood Hall, and Haydon End and will return via Redhouse, Oakhurst and Taw Hill, this replaces service 12.

17 - Timetable Changes

17A - NEW SERVICE - will operate alongside service 17 from Penhill to Park North via Kembrey Inn, Fleming Way and Walcot West.

19 & 19A - will be extended from Fleming Way to Park South (Replaceing service 18) via New College. Buses will now also serve Ridgeway Farm after Sparcells.

19B - will now serve Ridgeway Farm after Sparcells.

27 - Will operate Farnsby Street to Lydiard Fields Only at Lunchtimes

Withdrawn Routes 

12 - Withdrawn in Haydon End, Wood Hall, Akers Way, Northern Road, Ferndale & North Star - Replaced by 15 & 15A services

15 - Withdrawn in Old Town, Croft Campus, Wroughton Park & Ride, East Wichel & Middle Wichel - Replaced by 11

16 - Withdrawn - Replaced by services 1 & 1A

18 - Withdrawn - Replaced by services 19 & 19A

22 - EVENING & SUNDAY SERVICE WITHDRAWN

24 & 24A - Withdrawn - 24 replaced by service 12 in Blunsdon & 17A at Kembrey Inn

27 - Morning & Evening Peak service Withdrawn - replaced by service 17A at Kembrey Inn

No Changes

There are no changes to Thamesdon Services 2, 23, 46, 46A, 48, 48A, 70A, 72A, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157 & 158 or to Marlborough Services 19, 20, 21, 22, 42, 95, 217, X20 & X22 or to Calne Services 33 & 43 or contract services B1, N1 & T10 - I still have to check if Cirencester Tesco Free Bus Services T1, T2, T3 & T4 being operated.

There are no changes to Stagecoach Services 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 49, 51, 51A, 51X, 53, 55, 55A, 66, 80 & 81 or to Devizes Services 1, 1A, 1C, 1D, 85 & X33 or to Cirencester Services 50, 76, 77, 78 & 850.

There are no changes to services 31, 31A, 47, 50, 60, X5 & X56 operated by other operators or to GWR rail services or National Express Services 302, 332, 403 & 444 or to Stagecoach MegaBus services M7 & ME14 or to Sindbad service L5.
