Thanks to Jerry for setting this all up! And thanks to everyone for putting such nice photos on their pages. The course was good fun, and already we are planning another for 12th April 2008. The turbine is now up and running at the west end of scoraig, powering Aggie's house. I am not sure how to get more photos onto this page so I will probably make another page on my own site to show them.

Ready to erect Michel's wind turbine Michel had built this one to a very similar recipe, and we did the finishing touches. All except for Philipp who fell asleep somewhere out of shot.	The stator casting came out beautifully and it was a rare privilege to have so many women on the course this time. Siobhan and Joan in this photo.
Alternator assembly Felix and Philipp. Felix is jacking a rotor down with a socket spanner in the cordless drill.	Adjusting the stator mounts Felix is the man of action again. Jerry on the left.
Mark shows off the tail Mark definitely got to grips with welding and produced results. Tail shape by Philipp.	Drilling perpendicular holes Jerry is guided by Mark and Philipp. I forgot the drill-press, so we did a lot of this.
Fitting the blades Mark fits the blades. See how warped the top one is! But it flew nicely.	finishing touches Philipp adjusts the fastenings.
It becomes a reality Friday afternoon was sunny and windy.	The camera tells lies The blades did warp but not that much. Motion and a slow shutter add the rest.
A nice group You will have seen a shot like this before, but I still like my one :-)
