Eric Bogle

by Julia Robinson - 21:07 on 17 August 2009

Those of you in the know will recognise the wee man on the left of this picture! Yep. that's right. Eric Bogle! He's the man who wrote the famous anti-war poem called No Man's Land (aka The Green Fields of France). He played at Eden Court last night - along with his sidekick, John Munro, on the right - as part of his farewell tour and we were lucky enough to have tickets to the show!

What a brilliant time we had. He's a real entertainer and had lots of anecdotes to go along with the songs he sung. If you didn't manage to be there, you missed a great night - one that will never be repeated!
