Burns ceilidh

Hey everyone, thanks to all those who came along the the Raigmore Motel on Saturday 4th February to join us in celebrating the life of the bard - Rabbie Burns!

We didn't want to follow the formal route of speeches etc but thought we should still do something appropriate - and what better than a ceilidh!! Music kicked off at 9:30pm with the traditional haggis, neeps and tatties served up at around 10:30pm.

After the usual 'wee short break' it was back to work for some and back to fun for the rest!! The dance floor was busy for most of the night. It was great to see so many who could dance to a Gay Gordon, Canadian Barn Dance, Scottische or Strip the Willow. Better still was the fact that there was enough room on the dance floor to do all of the above.

Thanks to the Raigmore once again for hosting the event. We're looking forward to the next one. Watch this space!!
