Ceilidh Class

by Julia Robinson - 13:20 on 23 January 2009

Well folks, here it is! My first BLOG on the site!

Last night Alison and I went to the Ceilidh Dance class again. There were more of us there this time so we managed to do some set dances - like an Eightsome Reel - instead of just couples dancing the same - like a Gay Gordons.

The classes are held in the Spectrum Centre on a Thursday night from 7:30pm to 9pm. Cost is £3:50 each. You really should give it a go! We're all relative beginners. Most of us only remember bits of what we learned at school so it's fun when we're all tripping over our own feet as we try to come to grips with 'side steps' and 'figures of eight' etc.

If you're interested, give me a call.
