Riding in Torbreck Woods

i was very disappointed to read in your newsletter that horseriders are being encouraged not to ride in Torbreck woods,i appreciate that it is close to Inverness but dogwalkers have a far wider range of places to go in or near to the town than have riders who obviously want to avoid roads wherever possible.
Further to this,i believe that within these woods dog owners allowing their pets to run free are a hazard to riders and to people walking who are not familiar with and therefore slightly apprehensive around dogs.Unfortunately, not only are dogs rarely on leads, they are very often under no control whatsoever from their owners-only a couple of weeks ago my partner was nearly thrown from a horse that was frightened by two dogs being allowed to run riot;when the owner was asked to keep his dogs under control he became verbally abusive. When this same individual was encountered later on that morning he continued to allow his dogs to harass the horses.
On a different point, can you tell me when a "seven lochs" map will be posted on your site?I believe it was a massive own goal by the people who came up with the "great glen way" route not to at least offer a SE Loch Ness alternative to the Inverness-Drum-FA route although in some ways it is nice for us locals to have our own wee secret on this side of the loch as opposed to the tourist trap opposite.
