Dogs
Just a note to point out that taking your dog out (off lead) whilst horseriding is not perhaps a good practice. Whilst I understand how pleasant it is to be out with both your best friends, I would urge riders to leave their dogs at home when out riding. The Access Code states that dogs should be on leads or under close control. This is not always a possibility when riding.
It would be a shame for horseriders to be identified by land managers as being irresponsible when they have benefitted so much by the new access arrangements.
