And so our sailing season has drawn to a close. Should we wish for lashing rain and gales to temper our off-season yearning to be back on the water? ...or for fine winter sunshine in which to spruce up topsides and brightwork at the yard?...I think I'll opt for the later. 
Time for our AGM and laying down plans for 2015. Time for winter maintenance weekends, interspersed with neglected domestic DIY, the pre-Christmas list perusal of chandlery websites, maybe a dash to the sun for some.
