Sanday played host to St.Andrews at their adopted home, The Commodore in Holm, last Sunday and won through to the quarter finals in convincing style.

Sanday's first doubles pairing of Gary Brown and Ivan Leslie followed by Michael Moodie & Michael Muir Jnr won the first two doubles before Hamish Baillie & Magnus Walker won the third doubles for St.Andrews to make the score 2-1 to Sanday after the doubles. At this stage it looked like it had the makings of being a close match but it was not to be. Sanday won the next twelve games to lead 14-1 before Ali Flett gave St.Andrews some consolation when he beat Gary Brown. Michael Muir Jnr and Michael Moodie won the last two games for Sanday to give them a record equalling 16-2 victory. Sanday now go onto face the winners of Sandwick v Holm in the quarter final.

Alan Gray, Ivan Leslie and Michael Muir Snr all had 180s with Michael Muir Jnr taking out a 100 checkout.
