Fifteen teams went into the hat for the 2011 - 12 Parish Cup draw. They were reigning champions Sandwick, last seasons runners-up Holm, Birsay, Sanday, St.Andrews, Burray, Shapinsay, Westray, Eday, Firth, St.Ola, Stronsay, Orphir, South Ronaldsay and returning after a one year absence, Deerness.

Tie of the round sees champions Sandwick start their defence with a home game against the Holm, last season's runners up. Burray are drawn away for the first time and have to travel west to take on Birsay whilst Westray have a home tie for the first time and have been drawn against Shapinsay. A contender for tie of the round is Sanday versus St.Andrews with the winners drawn at home to play either Sandwick or Holm in the quarter finals. Stronsay receive a bye.
