Derek Farmer went down 9-8 to Brian Moar last night despite having the Singles League's first 11 darter.

With the game poised at 6-6 Derek broke a shaft and after trying in vain to remove the broken shaft from the barrel he was forced to change his darts. With Derek already having had a 112 checkout and Brian a 102 check, the game was deadlocked at 8-8 with Derek on double top when Brian took out a 105 checkout to win the match.
