NPT Newsroom - a welcome step forward
At last Neath Port Talbot Council have a NEWS page on the Internet to give information to their residents about what is happening in the Borough.
Under the banner of NEWSROOM (shown above). the news page covers items that matter to residents. There is also an option to receive an information newsletter by email.
Hopefully 'Newsroom' is the first step forward for better communications between the council and the public.
Many residents would like to know more about the Councillors who represent them and a PROFILE page would do this.
Currently little is known about our councillors. Few know that one lady councillor was a singer and entertainer on a Caribbean cruise ship, another is a retired bricklayer and others include retired school teachers and a young man who is currently a supermarket worker.
Councillors come from all walks of life, as indeed they should, so residents should rightly know more about them.
