The Society, launched in March 2017, aims to explore the history of the neighbouring communities covered by the Dyffryn Clydach and Bryncoch/ Blaenhonddan Community Council areas.
The Society meets in the Longford Memorial Hall above The Drive in Longford and at the Bryncoch Community Centre, Main Road, Bryncoch. Meetings are normally held monthly on Tuesday afternoons / evenings.
A talk on Three Brunel Bridges in South Wales - Chepstow, Landore and Loughor - by Glyn Williams in the Longford Memorial Hall on Tuesday 29th January at 2pm (please note what will henceforth be our new meeting time at this venue).
On February 26th there’s a talk on our Coal Mining Heritage presented by the South Wales Miners Museum at the Bryncoch Community Centre at 7pm.
