Yellow Pages - The End?

Is it THE END of YELLOW PAGES?

It would appear that the final printed edition of Yellow Pages has been delivered to the homes of residents.

Many will have noticed that editions have been getting smaller and the latest one has FINAL EDITION printed on the front cover.

This could be another victim of the Internet and a step towards a paperless society.  Most people now use their computers to find telephone numbers.

YELLOW PAGES will still be used on line as they switch their operation to websites under the YELL name.

Having said all this, there is no indication on the inner pages about the publication finishing with a contact telephone number given for future advertising.

It may be a good idea to keep your final edition in mint condition as it may be worth a few bob in the distant future.

Remember to put the old copy out for recycling.

EXTRA

A YELL spokesperson confirms that there will be no more Yellow Pages in this area.
