Crispy Cod coming to Waunceirch shortly

Following its success in the Rhondda, the Crispy Cod business will be opening its fourth shop at Waunceirch in Neath very shortly.   The firm is taking over Piper's Fish Bar which suddernly closed over two years ago and opened up in Birchgrove.

The Crispy Cod was founded by Mathew Williams in 2008. It was created with the concept of providing the freshest and finest food in the Rhondda Valleys. 

The Crispy Cod began as a humble fish & chip shop in Tonyrefail that was destined to make a difference. The shop soon found amazing success within the local community and became the pinnacle of takeaway food. Above all the core belief of the freshest and the finest is at the heart of all food prepared and cooked at The Crispy Cod. 

​After the success of the takeaway shop in Tonyrefail, Mathew set his sights on a brand new project. He decided to build a restaurant that provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a 5* service. The sit-in restaurant in Gelli was a huge success and provided the local community with a gourmet experience. ​

Now with The Crispy Cod celebrating it's 10th Birthday the future looks bright, with many new ideas being thought of, the core message still remains the same. To provide our customers with the finest and the freshest food in the valleys.
