+  Janiice Dudley to be 'installed' as Mayor of NPT

Following a year as deputy Mayor, Janice Dudley, councillor for Bryncoch South, will be seated as Mayor of Neath Port Talbot, on Friday, 26th May 2017 at the Port Talbot Civic Centre.

This information was not freely available on the NPT Council website.

No doubt STaN will look at the financial side of this in an effort to make Neath Ferret readers aware of the costs involved.

+  We wish to remind readers of a former website for the Mayor's engagments which was discontinued after apparent lack of interest.   It has since been noticed that tha NPT Council website lacks information on the Mayor's activities.  We must therefore ask is the cost of having a Mayor really justified?
