Driverless road cars are coming.   How about driverless RAIL CARS?

We look outside the box to see possiblities for future cars on rails. It would help to solve road traffic problems.   Trials could be done on the exisiting Neath Valley rail lines in conjunction with Network Rail.

Neath could be first with such a venture - yes! it can be done. Neath is known for innovative transport systems with Neath Council having a gas powered tram running from Brition Ferry to Skewen in the early 1900s.

A group of Neath rail enthusiasts could surely convert an old car in one of Neath's scrap yards and start something going?   It could be the start of a profitable venture that could help the community.
