Use it or lose it
Neath must use it - or lose it
The valleys of Neath are gems many ignore
Richard Burton described the Neath and Afan valleys as little Switzerland in Wales
Look to see what is being done elsewhere:
A loss to the Afan Valley was the Rhondda and Swansea Bay railway way. Now a handful of enthusiasts has grown to over 2,000 in an attempt to reopen the second longest tunnel in the UK for a cycle track. It is a pity the rail track has gone - thanks to the Beeching rail cuts.
Unless the Neath Valley rail lines are put to good use we could lose them too.
