A year of misery and gridlock is forecast for the Neath Abbey Tesco roundabout

Year by year we have seen the traffic get worse at the Neath Abbey Tesco roundabout at peak times - and this year (2017) the delays are going increase.   Car drivers on the A465 from the Neath Valley are becoming aware of this and by-pass the junction to carry on to the Aberavon Shopping Centre or the retail parks at Llansamlet or Swansea.

One way to reduce the road gridlock is to introduce a Neath Valley Metro Line - the basic infrastructure is already there.  It would also be a tremendous tourist attraction - bringing thousands of visitors to the area.
