There was some correspondence about the Neath Canal recently.  Out of interest, last weekend I repeated a walk - between the top of the canal south of Glynneath and Resolven - which I last took about seven years ago. I was surprised at how much it had become overgrown or blocked by fallen trees for much of its length in that time.
