Litter thrown from cars - the answer?

Reader suggests a scheme to stop litter being thrown from cars

A reader has written in (Personal responsibility 5/2/16) with a suggestion to catch those throwing litter from cars.

He suggests that windsceen cameras could record litter being thrown from the car in front and the occurance be reported to the DVLA.   As an incentive, there could be a reduction in road tax for the driver reporting the offence.

Windscreen cameras are becoming popular as an aid to accident incidents, and could be very easily be used as suggested.   Shown right is a camera which records on a loop system, which only cost £38.

The suggestion would more than pay for the camera in the long run, as well as giving satisfaction with its use.
