2016 - a year for considering others

Athough first published in 2014, this item (revived yesterday) has been deleted because there is no wish to offend a small minority in the community - as it may have done.

But it must be made clear that many people in the UK think the burka should be banned as it is in France.   This viewpoint is endorsed by shop keepers and staff in Post Offices who like to see the face of the person they are dealing with.

Many infants are frighted, even terrorised, by those wearing burka face dress.   This should not be allowed in this country.
