STaN says GO COMPARE

It can be revealed with all sincerity that Stan, the Neath Ferret columnist, is concerned about his fairness in reporting on Peter Hain, the MP for Neath, and wishes that a reader or two would say something good about him in order to strike a note of balance.
So it seems that Stan has done the next best thing, he has compared Peter Hain with another MP - John Mann, pictured right, Labour MP for Bassetlaw in Nottinghamshire since 2001.
There must be a standard for comparision and it seems that Stan thinks that John Mann is the man - please forgive any signs of a pun, which is not intended.
In Stan's latest column he looks at John Mann's political record and compares it with that of Peter Hain (left) The facts are there for you to see and judge for yourself, which readers are asked to do with an open mind.
We hope that comparisions will not be made relating to positions held in government but of the sincerity of the two men and their attitude to those they serve.
