Does this seem odd to you?

The following notice was given to children at a Cilfrew school on a Friday evening about an event scheduled for the following Sunday (hence no time to check on it).   There are no details of the originator, no contact details or telephone number.

Questions arise:   Did the teachers know about it?    Are the school governors aware of it.   Is there any connection with a school governor and the person(s) running the event?    Should school children be allowed to canvass in this way?

We think that answers to these questions must be given - and that events of this nature should be advertised in advance with details of the originator - and not by using school children as done in this case.
