Car tow bar used in Indian restaurant raid?

The first impression is that the break in to the Mint Masla Indian restaurant at Waunceirch was done by youngsters because of the low level point of entry.   It is now thought that it may have been a form of ram raid by using a car tow hitch. 

Reversing the car into the glass door panels could have well caused the damage as shown in the photograph taken by one of our photographers.

Only the adjacent Tesco Express store has anti ram raid bollards, leaving the other shops very vulnerable to ram raids.

The Police would welcome any information on this raid, which took place in the early hours of 11th March 2013.
