LEIROS PARK DRIVE TRAFFIC MEASURES.
Cllr Janice Dudley has just updated her website, which includes the following report:
"I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE LONG AWAITED DOUBLE YELLOW LINES HAVE BEEN COMLETED AT LEIROS PARK DRIVE AND PEN Y WERN ROAD.
Tony Wynn Jones and myself Janice Dudley put in for this traffic scheme prior to the last Election, due to cars parking dangerously on the junction between Pen y Wern and Leiros Park Drive.
Although I visited homes in the affected area prior to the 21 day period of objection, unfortunately there was an objection which caused the delay, residents have been concerned as was I , I thank God there were no Accidents at this junction.
Since the markings have been put in place I have received many thanks from residents for my perseverance.
I would like to thank the Highway Department for overcoming the objections and for getting the work done in order to make the Road safe for the Residents of Leiros Park.
I hope the problem is now resolved."
