New Mayor for the Borough

The inauguration of Mayor Councillor Martyn Peters took place at The Princess Royal Theatre, Civic Centre, Port Talbot on Friday, 18th May 2012.  The newly elected Mayor said he was proud and privillaged to serve the community in which he has been a councillor since 1999. Praise was given to the outgoing Mayor Councillor Harry Bebell and the money he had raised for his chosen charity.
As previously reported, the new Mayor will have a formal dairy on the Internet for everyone to be aware of his official engagements.
