A brilliant thought

Positive thinking by Labour candidate

Note the FOLLOW UP  ****

A letter by Andrew Jenkins, one of the Labour candidates for Bryncoch South, gives some positive thoughts on the future of the Neath Empire.

In his letter, Andrew refers to an article in a national newspaper:
"The article describes the redevelopment proposal for Unity Hall in Wakefield, a once popular facility that has been disused for over a decade. Working alongside Heritage groups, the Arts Council, the Co-operative Enterprise Hub and local residents, Unity House Limited will endeavour to raise funds to give the hall a makeover.

To be included in the new facility would be a cafe, office space for emerging businesses, function rooms, a large venue hall, meeting spaces and more. The idea seems to be to turn Unity Hall into a co-operatively owned community and creative hub."

Andrew wonders what the impact would be on Neath if something similar was done for the Neath Empire?

Many readers will no doubt hope that Andrew will pass on his thoughts to the new owners of the Empire - Coastal Housing Group Ltd., 11 Wind Street, Swansea SA1 1DP
