The spirit of Christmas is starting to shine on our readers' letters page and highlights the caring side of this  website that is often critical of others - but with good intent.  If only everyone had a caring attitude all the year round the world would be a better place to live in.    Often those in need would prefer a hand up instead of a hand out.   No matter what your political and reglious beliefs may be, the spirit of Christmas should ideally remain in our hearts every day of the year.
