FACEBOOK Outburst
A warning to readers with a report from Wikipedia
This is something that we cannot ignore because three readers have been in touch with us and all have said the same thing. To avoid embarrassment we will not mention names but warn readers how careful they must be when writing on FACEBOOK.
The readers have told us of a certain Neath councillor who has made unwise remarks on FACEBOOK. It is considered that these remarks will reflect badly on him and will do his future no good. He would be wise to withdraw the comments in his own interest. It is said that an opposing political party is sure to take note and be delighted with the implications.
Remarks made in FACEBOOK are open for all signing on veiwers to see. One well known personality in show business closed his FACEBOOK account after a series of nasty comments were made about him by third parties.
It certainly makes you realise how comments made on this Internet facility can do much harm to others and often backfire on the writer.
Comment: FACEBOOK has been in the news recently over their settings and filtering system. It is a shame how this useful social network facility can be abused by some people. It must be remembered that FACEBOOK is rather like an open book - when care is not taken with the security settings.
