New look for BEG
Bryncoch Environment - new look for website
A spokesperson for BEG says that they are most unhappy with the attitude of some people living in the area in view of the rubbish being dropped by certain individuals. The following has been posted on the group's new look website:-
"Although most of the litter originates from Tescos, the fact that most of it ends up on our streets is due to to people, mainly youngsters, carelessly dropping it.
If NPT Council provided more bins in the area above Tescos store that would be a help, but ultimately, it is due to individuals acting responsibly.
If they fined people, including teenagers, as it appears they are the ones who are mainly responsible for the litter problem, that may make people think twice about dropping litter."
Ed Note. We think that this matter should be raised at the next PACT meeting due to take place at 6:30pm Thursday, 15th September, at the Bryncoch Community Centre.
