Concern about animals
Animal Concern
Michelle Thew, BUAV Chief Executive, claims that WAG members covering Neath are not responding to her concerns. Michelle goes on to say that there is strong public concern surrounding animal experimentation. In 2009 (the most recent figures available) over 3.5 million animals were used in tests in the UK and over 58,000 animals were experimented on in Wales alone, an increase of more than 10,000 on the previous year.
