FURTHER UPDATE ON RE-OPENING DATES 2022

At this moment in time table tennis is a permitted activity (given reasonable precautions). However there remains a risk to our members from “contact with other households” when we are “asked to limit groups to 3 households” in the rules applicable to a social setting. It seems unreasonable/illogical advice especially considering the increased speed and spread of Covid and the Omicron variant.

I have taken advice from our Management Committee and it has been decided that there will be no further table tennis sessions for this year or for January and probably also February 2022, barring a miracle! We will keep a constant watch on developments and I will advise you of new opening dates as soon as it is safe to open.

Better safe than sorry.
