I'll put something in here about Meditation, which may be of interest.  Having practised for many years, I recently taught a course which was quite well received here in the lovely village of Cromarty.  

Meditation Course Outline

Week 1:  Introduction.  What do we mean by meditation?  Why meditate?  Meditation described as a step-by-step process, and how this evolves.  The importance of intention and general approach.  Basic meditation technique.  Self-healing technique.
 
Week 2:  Review of the stages of the meditation process.  What do we want from meditation?  Why meditation is not a means-end project.  How to do nothing.  Mindfulness of the breath practice.  Basic healing technique (in pairs).
 
Week 3:  Sound and light.  Kinaesthetic/auditory/visual types.  Meditation as pacification practice, using music.  Healing technique using visualised light.
 
Week 4:  Accepting our emotionality.  Meditation on love.  Healing practice.
 
Week 5:  Widening our awareness.  Developing curiosity about this moment.  Getting beyond judgement and entertainment.  Various kinds of meditation discussed (focussing; emotional opening; insight; etc). Insight meditation practice.  Healing practice.
 
Week 6:  Reminder of the step-by-step process we have been exploring.  Something beyond?  Awareness practice.  Meditation and healing practices.  Meditation in action.  General discussion.
