 Newsletters/update'sHi everyone. 8th December 2008
Sorry that we didn’t have a news letter last month I have had a few pc problems, now sorted.
First of all we will be having a new year’s party at the end of Jan we thought this was a good time as we are all so tied up what with Christmas so close!!! , we hope you will all come along and have a great night out with us.
Winter break is coming up soon for us all .Next Monday 15th Dec will be the last training session before Christmas break, with the Lions playing their last league game on the 14th and the Tigers playing on the 21st .Pumas have no games till the new year .
Dates
14th Dec lions Home match.
15th Dec last training session.
21st tigers league match.
Xmas break.
4th Jan 2009 league games all three teams.(managers will give you a ring before the game)
5th Jan 2009 first training night back in the sports hall.
Later on in the New Year we will be having a presentation night, more about this closer to the time.
Well done to all the players and you parents for your support so far this season without you we could not do what we do.
Everyone here at the under 8m would like to wish you all a very happy charismas and a very happy new year!!!!

Hi everyone. We hope you all enjoyed our day out at Leicester City Football Club as much as we did . Well done Tom Gent on winning the peno shot out !!! We would like to thank you all for coming and hope to do it again at a latter date. Winter training starts the 6th Oct 2008. This year we will all be training back inside the sports hall at Ibstock community college on a Monday evening 6pm-7:30pm ,we have had to change night due to this being the only time slot that myself and stuart,joby could make ,the alternative would have been on a Friday evening at Ashby Ivanhoe which we are sure you would not want . When we start back outside again we will be staying on a Monday evening (5:30-7:15) .but we will be training in front of the new club house which should make things a bit easier for us and help free space up on a Tuesday evening due to so many people training up here on Tuesdays.

As you have seen over the past few newsletters we have been planning a day out for all the players ,we have now got all the information we needed to be able to do this. We are pleased to let you all know we will be taking all the children to Leicester city football club on the 13th September, for some coaching and matches ,after that we will be going to the walkers stadium for photo's and lunch ,followed by us all watching Leicester City v Millwall league 1 match (1pm kick off ). time's 9:00am Meet up @ ibstock co-op. 9:45am arrive Sports leagues,freemans common. 10:00 am Football coaching and games. 11:45am Walkers stadium for pitch side photo 12:00pm lunch,receive Match day programs,receive singed Leicester city football. 12:30-12:45 take seats for game. 1:00pm kick off . 2:45pm finish.
We will be covering the cost's of the children as a thank you from all of us here at the under 8's minors. Now the bit we all hate Adult cost is £15 each which includes ,food,program,match ticket. Extra children (non players) are £10 each , which includes the same as the adults and will be able to watch the coaching. Where possible can we please keep siblings too a minimum ,as this is for the players I am sure you will under stand as much as we do this will not be possible in all cases as it is with me ,my two daughter's will be coming along as they are both season ticket holders at Leicester. 5th August 2008 Welcome back !!!!!
We hope you have all had a good break over the last 3 weeks .
Well done to both our Keepers who have been training every Wednesday over the break they have both improved and benefited from this ,this will continue during the season and into the future .
Well done also to Louis,Alex and Jordan who have been on Leicester city football club course over the last few weeks .
Jordan has been invited to a talent ID camp later this month with Leicester city football club ,good luck to you we are all very proud of you .
I would like to thank Malc,,Kev and mike for all their hard work and a big thank you to Simo and Sharon for sorting out all the paper work,photos and collecting birth certificates ,to ensure we will be in the league this year ,your all stars !!!
At the end of training tonight we will be introducing you all to our 3 team Lion's ,Tiger's and Puma's .
Due to us now having enough players for the Puma's we have been advised by the club to try and enter the Puma's into the league ,we will try our best to arrange this but due to this being a bit late we are just going to have to wait and see what the league says.
I am very great full to the parent that has come forward and is going to hopefully be manager of the Puma's ,Myself and Stuart and all the coach's will help to support the Puma's thought out there time with us .
