Internal Unification

This year represents an exciting time for Scottish Bowling with plans taking shape for unification between the two outdoor governing bodies – the Scottish Bowling Association and the Scottish Women’s Bowling Association.

Equality Act 2010 and Outdoor Flat Green Bowls

The Equality Act 2010 replaces the existing anti-discrimination laws with a single Act. It simplifies the law, removing inconsistencies and making it easier for people to understand and comply with. It also strengthens the law in important ways to help tackle discrimination and inequality.

Implementation of the majority of the Equality Act will begin on 1^st October 2010 and Bowls England has prepared the guidance below to inform all Members on the current position.
