Pinkertons 20/03/11

Game played at a slightly cut up Riverside. Again we started slow and gifted Pinkies a goal within 5 or 6 minutes with a defensive lapse but we fought back well and got an equaliser when a Pinkies player put through there own net. In typical Acorn fashion though we again gave away a slack goal to go 2-1 down. We got back into the game again when Hampton slid a perfect pass to Kirk who slotted home well.

HT 2-2

2nd Half we started the brighter and went 3-2 up after a good team move was finished by the on rushing Mark.The game was very tight and both teams made half chances and Sticks making some great saves.Pinkies got there equaliser about 10 mins before the end .

FT 3-3

All in all a good battling performance,more like us.Good to have 15 boys the day aswell which is what we will need from now till end of the season.
