LBC 18/10/09

A game played at riverside park was all action from the start with both teams commited to a good game first half there were a few chances for both sides but we took the lead with a long kick fromSticks and Kirk tucking the finish past the keeper.Game was to and fro for the rest of the half

HT 1-0

2nd half was more of the same with both teams wanting the win.LBC started to take more control and got the equaliser half way through the half and then took the lead with about 2o mins to go.We fought and played our way back into the game and got a deserved equaliser wi about 10 mons to go when Willie scooped in a shoot after the keeper spilled an Ivory shot.LBC also missed a penalty.

FT 2-2

Extra time was very stretched  and LBC can feel aggrieved as they had the ball in the net but the ref carried play on and didnt give the goal.

LBC then missed ther first 2 pens and we scored four of our 5 so  won 4-3 on pens.Pen scorers were Willie.Jonesy,Kirk and Ivory.

All in all a really good win and a big scalp for us and happy to be in the next round.
