St Clair Tavern 23/01/11

Game played at a heavy warout park due to Riverside having burst pipes.First game in 2 months.We started well and took the lead when the returning Marc Hampton was fouled in the box and Bob expertly slotted home the pen. Game was pretty even for most of the half and then St Clair got an equaliser through an og from Kev.Game again was fairly even till ht with St Clair probably edging it on chances.

2nd half was only a few minutes old when we went down to ten men when Dave broke his leg and had to be taken away in an ambulance.St Clair took full advantage and scored soon afterwards from a free kick and scored a 3rd quickly after.Before the end we did continue to attack and had a few chances but tiredness and the numbers difference meant we conceded a further 2 before ft.

All in all we did ok till we wen to ten men but again let down by a few boys no showing which left us with the bare 11,would have thought after a long lay off boys would be dying to play eh. Cant fault the effort of everyone there though and hope for a speedy recovery Dave lad.
