Lang Toun 30/05/10

JS Anderson cup final played it the delightful Warout stadium.

Game started well and we went 1 nil up after less than 2 mins when Kirk calmly slotted hom his 19th of the season after a good move and pass from Willie. That was to be the highlight of the first half for us though as Lang Toun came at us hard and we were caught looking less than sharp when they raced into a 3-1 half time lead.

HT 1-3

2nd half was a different story though and wwe cam out and dominated and deservedly pulled one back when Tam cooly slotted home.Then with about 10 mins to go Willie slotted home to score our equaliser and his 49th of the season.

FT 3-3

1st period of extra time we dominated the first 10 mins then it went end to end and Langtoun went 4-3 up

2nd period of extra time so us push hard and wi 3 mins to go Willie took a quick free kick and scored yet another equaliser and his 50th of the season. Almost straight from kick off though LangToun went up the park and scored the killer 5th which killed us.

AET 4-5

Lads fair play we battled hard and played some good neat football at times but we looked tired at times and that cost us dearly.Absolutely gutted.
