Eddys 16/08/09

Game played at Beveridge park with Eddys starting stronger and going one up early on through bad defending .We got it back fairly quickly with a good finish fi Robbo.Fairly soon again through our own doing we found ourselfs 3-1 down.Credit to us though as we battled back and made it 3-2 when Kirk finished off well,,then we equalised through a Jonesy header.We would have taken that at ht but just before the break we went 4-3 up with Robbo scoring again.

HT 4-3

Second half was fairly cagey but we went 5-3 up when Willie slotted a pen after Gwyn was fouled.Eddys came back at us agin and scored from a free kick on the edge of our box but almost immeadiately we went up the park and made it 6-4 with a neat finish from Willie.With a few moments to go Eddys scored with a pen to make it 6-5.

FT 6-5

All in all a good win to start the season but we have to tighten up at the back(myself inc) and start burying chances when we get them.Would help if boys would turn up aswell or at least let us ken they wont make it.
