Weavers R 02/08/09

Game played at Fife Institute and again we were missing a few boys but we started well and played some decent stuff for the first half hour but then after Weavers had a perfectly good goal chopped off we fell away for the next 15 minutes.

HT 0-0

Second half we were under pressure  for most of it but we cretaed a few good chances and we had sticks make a few good saves and then with 10 minutes to go we took the lead through a decent move and a good finish from Robson.For the last ten we were under constant pressure and Weavers got an equaliser in injury time to take the game to pens.

FT 1-1

We then won it on pens with Willie,Tam,Robson,Jonesy and Dave slotting there pens .

All in all we played decent and prob got more than we deserved but its about time that happened to us as its usually the other way aroun.The win takes the Corn into our first ever final,Happy days.
