Weavers 05/07/09

Game played on a roasting hot day at sunny Randolph.Weavers Started the game brighter and took a hold on the game for most of the first half with the acorn only having a few forward attacks.Weavers took the lead with a deserved well worked goal just before HT.

HT 0-1

Second half Acorn made a couple of changes and this seemed to work as we levellled a few minutes into the half with a good headed Robson finish.Acorn took the lead a few moments later with a good move and an excellent Hampton finish.Game was then finished with a few minutes left when Toph scored with a neat finish.

FT 3-1

Good result for us in the first game back but need to up the performance by the next game.On a wee sour note aswell our kepper DiFalco has broken his knee cap and will be out for a while.
