Glen Styx 12/04/09

A convincing display today from us.  Game played at Overstenton and we looked sharp from the outset.  We weent 1 up early doors with a neat finish from Willie who then quickly set Tam up for a good finish for the second.  Not long after Willie doubled his tally affter robbing a Styx defender of the ball and finishing well.From then on in there was no doubting the result.  Willie then got another to complete his hat trick with another good finish but he saved his best till his 4th and last goal with a lovely chipped finish over the keeper.

Second half we did not let up and scored again when Willie sent Kirk through one on one wi the keeper and he provided a good finish.  Kirk wasted no time and quickly got his own second.  The 8th goal was the pick of the bunch when Hampton finished a good move with a cracking finish into the top shelf.  Kirk shortly afterwards added his 3rd and our 9th by megging the keeper then cooly slotting home.

Overall a great win the day we looked like our old selves the day (and last 2 games) with everyone up for it and having a laugh at the same time.  Just need to keep it going for last game and see where it get us.  Well done lads
